Home Page Help:

Users can access features by clicking on the main menu list located at the left hand side of the Home Page or the small menu located at the top right hand side of the Home Page. General information, updates and news can be viewed in the purple boxes.

Help Page Help:

For help with other topics, please open the 'Help' link on the relevant page. The link is always located on the top right hand side of the screen.

Login Help:

Users must log in before products can be downloaded or reviewed. Please enter in to the appropriate fields the email address and password you submitted at the time of registration. If you cannot remember your password, please click on the link 'Forgotten your password?' below the login form to send a password reminder to your email inbox.

Search Screen Help:

You can search for products registered in the Product Catalogue by using one of the search methods available on the site. Quick search: If you already know which product you need, you can type in the name or part of the name of the product in the search field located at the top centre of the Home Page, and then clicking the arrow icon to the right. Advanced search: The Advanced Search function can be used to carry out a more refined search in order to obtain more specific results. The user can also order search results according to title, most recent updates and so on. View all products: Clicking on the 'View all products' link on the menu list on the left hand side of the screen will navigate you to a complete list of all products available in the Product Catalogue in alphabetical order. Browse You may also browse products according to National Project and Priority Service Outcomes by clicking on the links in the left-hand navigation.

Browse by Projects Help:

The Browse by National Project page lists each of the National Projects and the numbers of products each Project has on the catalogue. Click one of the National Projects to access its products in the catalogue.

Browse by PSO Help:

The Browse by Priority Outcomes page lists each of the ODPM's Priority Outcomes for 2005 and 2006, and the numbers of products in the catalogue that are relevant to each Outcome. Click one of the Priority Outcomes to access the relevant products in the catalogue.

Search Results Help:

The total number of products matching the criteria entered into the search field(s) will be listed on the results page. To view a product, click on the product name (in bold purple). If a product has been rated and reviewed by other users, you will be able to view the average rating below the brief description. If there are more than one page of results, the arrow function can be used to view the additional pages.

Product detail Help:

All product information can be found on the product display screen. The main body of the page displays details regarding the functionality of the product, as well as any submitted ratings and reviews. The purple boxes on the right-hand side of the screen display product download(s) or links to where the product may be found, as well as link to other relevant products in the catalogue.

Logout Help:

You have logged out of the Product Catalogue, which means you cannot download or review products. To log back in, click the link in the left-hand navigation, or the link within the content of the login page itself.

Registration Help:

Some features on this site, including product downloads and the ability to review a product, are only available to registered users. Please complete the registration form, ensuring the mandatory fields marked with an asterix (*) are completed. Passwords must be at least 6 characters long and consist of both numeric and alphabetic elements. Once you have registered, you will be automatically logged in and able to download products and use the rate and review feature.

Your Account Help:

You can change your account details on this page by making changes to the information you will have entered at registration. Remember that mandatory fields marked with an asterisk (*) must be filled in.
